The focus of this 5 night retreat is greater health and wellness for Body, Mind & Spirit. We will explore and learn practices that help us peel back the layers to arrive at a better feeling state in mind and body! More positive energy, more joy, more peace and more freedom!

Live Music & Dance,
Nutrition Coaching and Recipes for delicious nourishing food,
Energy Work and More!
The retreat center is in the center of Carefree Arizona. Carefree is a quaint and beautiful little town about 45 minutes from the Phoenix airport. It has plenty of nearby recreational activities such as horseback riding, hiking, shopping, biking, museums and eclectic dining!
The retreat center that we will be staying at is called Spirit in the Desert. It is surrounded with spectacular desert scenery.
We will have several optional classes for you to attend each day, all at your discretion and preference.
In between the classes of your choice you can swim in the pool, soak in the hot tub, or take comfort in the air-conditioned rooms with private patios overlooking the desert and mountains. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and all have private bathrooms and outdoor balconies. The average temperature in Carefree this time of year is mid to high 70’s with very low humidity making this an optimal temperature! Temperatures are cooler in the morning and evenings.

This retreat is for women and men ages 18 and up. This will be a wonderful experience for couples who wish to move deeper into healthy practices together! There will be many options of classes to participate in so choose all of them or just a few. No pressure!
You may also want to attend with a sibling, parent, son, daughter or friend! Often times we don’t get to spend quality time with family and friends due to our demanding life obligations. This is a chance to spend quality time making shifts for the better and deepening connections!
Couples need not feel that they have to attend all classes together. One of you may want to spend more time participating in the classes that we offer while the other may want to spend more time at the nearby golf course or hiking trails, then meet up later by the pool or for dinner.

This includes your comfortable and spacious room, all meals and refreshments, 24 hour coffee, tea, water and ice, and all classes! Classes include daily Yoga, Qi Gong, Meditation, Mindfulness training, gatherings for dance, singing/chanting, education on food and nutrition and more!
This does not include airfare or transportation of any kind.
Single Occupancy: $1400.00 USD
Double Occupancy: $1,100.00 USD
All rooms have 2 queen size beds. Some rooms also have a roll away bed or pull out couch. Rooms also have their own large private bathroom and balcony.
Airfare: The cost of the retreat does not include airfare but if you live in the Rochester area I recommend having Sue McNelly, a friend and Travel Consultant extraordinaire for help in booking your travel. Bani recently booked her flight from Rochester to Phoenix through American airlines for $515.00 USD round trip.
The flights will begin going up by the fall so I recommend booking your flight as soon as possible to get the best rate!
You may take a shuttle or Uber from the airport to Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center. You may choose to stay on and around the retreat grounds for the length of your stay as there will be plenty to do there as well as in the surrounding town of Carefree all within walking distance!
Or you may choose to rent a car if you’d like to take a half day trip out to Sedona or any other of the wonderful places in Arizona. You may also want to consider arriving in Arizona a couple of days early or stay a couple of days after the retreat to have a longer stay in Sedona or Scottsdale or any of the other wonderful places in this part of the state.
